February 12 @ 6:00 PM: 2010 PRINCESS MINISTRY KICK-OFF

Princess Ministry is a course for girls, 6th grade through 12th grade, to give them the tools they need to live a life of purity.

The course is 8 weeks long and meets every other week from February 12 through May 21, with a graduation to be held Sunday evening, May 23.

1. CHRIST FOCUSED. Keep my mind on Him and off myself. Do not allow any form of self-focus, pride, mediocrity, self-loathing or self-pity. Keep the arrow on Christ. Memorize His words. Always desire to be Christ-like. Pray to be Christ-like.

2. HUMBLE. Constantly acknowledge my total dependency on Him. Be a servant to all. Cast crowns ar His feet.

3. SEEKERS OF GOD. Seek to know and hear God. Don't seek to seek, seek to find.

4. GOOD LISTENER. Hear God. Listen well to others.

5. OBEDIENT. Obey Him immediately, no matter how hard it is or what it costs or how long it takes.

6. FAITHFUL. Persisit in obedience. Do His will night and day to the end. Habitually choose obedience. Prove you are full of faith by doing what God says. Meditate in the Word of God daily.

7. ACHIEVEMENT ORIENTED. (Godly Ambition) Know what God wants you to achieve. Make goals, decide which problems to solve. Never tolerate underachievement. Have daily planning time. Mark out your race in small first down type goals. Get more first downs that anyone (Win intenionally.)

8. THANKFUL. Overflow with thanksgiving for blessings past, present and future. Always give Jesus the glory. Be thankful to God and express it to people, too.

9. PURE. Avoid any mixture of virtue and vice. Be 100%. Do everything from the pure motive of bringing God glory. Keep pure sexually. Never commit adultery.

10. DISCERNING. Seek the precise truth - flawlessly balance or "focused". Distinguish between right and wrong, good and evil, wise and foolish. Stay constantly on guard against deception, error and sin.

11. DILIGENT. Prize possessions and take good care of them. Do everything with quality, thoroughness and speed without sacrificing one for the other.

12. ZEALOUS. Hate evil. Take every thought captive to Christ. Cast down vain imaginations. Destroy the work of the devil.

13. GRACIOUS. Be generous, hospitable, appreciative, thoughtful, complimentary, courteous and encouraging.

14. LOVING. Sincerely put value on others. Believe and act like they are very important. Demonstrate Christ's affection. Show interest in the interests of others.

15. FAITH FILLED. Be best friends with the Word of God. Trust God in all things. Wage war against any doubt, fear, worry or anxiety in my own life.

16. TRUTHFUL. Speak accurately; avoid all dishonesty, exaggeration, and half-truths. Keep a clear conscience at all costs. Believe the truth, speak the truth, live the truth, and stand for the truth, and spread God's truth worldwide.

17. DISCIPLINED. Apply self discipline, ignoring the pain and focusing on the harvest of peace it produces. Remember, "I am whatever I am because of discipline or the lack of it." Excercise regulary.

18. ORDERLY. Attack disorder. Put and keep things in order using the SPACE method. Take time to "equalize" each day. Give each activity its own time. Give each person I manage his or her own responsibility. Use "GETTING THINGS DONE" format for filing and personal organization. Process "IN" basket regularly.

19. PASSIONATE. Be intensely motivated, using every godly motivation.

20. EXCELLENCE. Strive for excellence in everything.

21. HUMOR. Be fun to be around. Don't take yourself too seriously. Store up clean humor after the example of Abraham Lincoln.

22. ATTRACTIVENESS. Keep your apearance pleasant and presidential.

23. LONGEVITY. Care for your body like Christ cares for the church.

24. SELF-DEVELOPMENT. Keep enlarging myself in order to attain to all God ordained for me to be and do. Read good books. Buy audio books. Grow in all areas. Keep developing talents and spiritual gifts.

25. CONFIDENTIAL. Keep confidences.

26. HOLY. Use Eph. 5:3-5 as a filter for entertainment. Avoid the unclean things. Avoid the devil's entertainment so as to always be entertained by the Holy Spirit.

27. SUBMISSIVE. Honor authority. Be a team player. Pray for them.

28. PATIENT. Don't be easily irritated or hassled. Be slow to anger.

29. PERSEVERING. Always renew your strength instead of giving up. Never tolerate discouragement. Resist it as if it is the devil himself.

30. ALERTNESS. Be alert to situations that require intercession. Then pray.

31. KINDNESS. View little acts of kindness as significant in God's eyes. Practice them habitually in public and in private.

32. TEACHABILITY. Be eager to learn. Store up knowledge. Depend on the Holy Spirit to verify truth from all sources. Seek out teachers. Spend money to learn.

33. GENTLENESS. Avoid gruff or harsh words.

34. LEADERSHIP. Stand up for the right causes and influence as many as possible to do what is right. Feed your leadership gift. Study leardership and keep learning about it.

35. CHEERFUL. Find and focus on reasons to be happy.

36. SELF-CONTROL. Don't allow yourself to act on mad, bad, or sad thoughts. Take charge of inner "self-talk" so that it glorifies God.

37. MERCIFUL. Respond in the opposite spirit to offenses.

38. OPPTIMISTIC. Expect blessings. Expect God's provisions. Let God be the fountain of all expectations. Based on Jeremiah 32:40.

39. SENSITIVITY. Be sensitive to how others may take your words or actions. Respond with emotion to emotional pleas, weep with those who weep, rejoice with those who rejoice.

40. COURAGEOUS. Act in spite of fear.

41. CALM. Don't worry or fret. Remember, God is in control - so act like He is.

42. WISE. Manage time, money, health, & people. Avoid credit card debt and excess weight. Avoid what is foolish. Learn to manage money & budget. Learn to save money and invest money.

43. FRUGALITY. Don't be wasteful. Don't make unnecessary expenses.

44. PEACEFUL. Constantly practice what I believe and preach. Live it. Get in God's peace first before trying to conquer problems. Always fight Satan in the arena of peace. Take the paths of peace.

45. NEATNESS. Pick up as you go. Don't leave messes. Take time each day to equalize - putting every "thing" in it's proper place.

46. HELPFUL. Look around, see what needs to be done, and do it before you are told.

47. WHOLEHEARTEDNESS. Be a hard worker. Never do anything in a half-hearted way.

48. CONTENTEDNESS. Practice enjoying what you have and what is around you.

49. PUNCTUAL. Never inconvenience others by being late.

50. AWARENESS. Be aware of your words, thoughts, attitudes and actions and chose those that please the Holy Spirit. Think about pleasing Him all the time.

51. POWER. Delight in weaknesses, hardships, difficulties, persecutions and insults. Live a fasted life. Fast as much as God coaches me to. Pray much!

52. CLEANNESS. Don't tolerate uncleanness in body, clothes, vehicles, office, home, yard, patio or pets.

53. SIMPLICITY. Avoid all unnecessary financial obligations so you can save money for emergencies and investments.

54. TRANSPARENCY. Be open and honest. No duplicity.

55. SINCERITY. Be authentic, natural, so the surface matches the inside. Be totally honest with God.

56. PROLIFIC. Write many books and many songs.

57. SALESMANSHIP. Blow the trumpet in Zion. Let everyone know about your products and services. Be a "best selling" author. Build trust. Have many repeat customers. Study and grow in author Todd Duncan's sales methods.

58. CREATIVE. Keep writing songs and thinking in creative ways. Write books, poetry, children's books, - all kinds of creative projects.

59. ROMANTIC. Plan vacations. Make it happen. Speak Bonnie's main love language. Bring her gifts, her second language. Make relaxed times to be together.

60. FRIENDLY. Enjoy people thoroughly. Have fun meeting new people. Like people.

61. RESPONSIBLE. Know the responsibility assigned to you. Fulfill it with diligence. Bear it with faithfulness.

62. PERSEPTIVE. Stay close to the Holy Spirit so you can perceive things others miss and receive His supernatural understanding, knowledge and wisdom. Ask for it.

63. SILENCE. Don't speak wasteful words. Don't speak unless it benefits someone or brings praise to God. One can only listen when they are not talking.

64. QUIETNESS. Cultivate quietness so you can hear God's still small voice. Don't always have noise gong. Learn to appreciate quietness. It is a friend.

65. ADAPTABILITY. Keep up with changes in technology. Learn how to make use of modern inventions and adapt to them. Enjoy change. Avoid ruts. Be open to new trends and ways of doing things.

66. OBSERVANT. Notice what's going on around you. Notice trends. Know what's happening in the world and which way trends are moving.

67. PREPAREDNESS. Have a will made out, funeral plan, life insurance, instructions for mate, trust fund, burial plots, disaster plan and some stored food.

68. EFFECTIVE. Don't just work hard, work smart. Be alert to what you can stop doing or delegate. Don't do other people's jobs. Don't be like Moses, trying to be the only Judge - "What you are doing is not good."

69. EFFICIENT. Learn how to do the right things the right way, best way. Do what author David Allen teaches. Study and excel in his methods of efficiency.

70. COLABORATIVE. Do projects with other people so as to synergize gifts and talents. You can do more with others that merely by yourself.

71. FOCUSED/PRUNNED. Trim the hard work tree. Keep the most productive branches and trim what doesn't bear much fruit. Use "hedgehog concept" as in the book "Good to Great". Know what the "main thing" is and do it.

72. JOYFUL. Be doubly thankful - for the blessings and also for the ability to enjoy them. Enjoy life. Enjoy the moment. Find joy in all situations. Be joyful always.

73. MODERATION.  Don't overeat. Don't "over" anything. Be sensitive to when you've reached "enough". Then stop.

74. GOODNESS.  Do good deeds that men can see so that they glorify God. Let your light shine. Goodness is not avoiding bad - but the actual doing of good deeds. Always do them for God to be glorified, not to be praised by men.

75. ENDURANCE.  Be so focused on the goal or prize that physical discomforts, physical pain and physical lack are no excuse for why it can't be done.

76. VIGILANCE.  Protect yourself and those under your charge after the example of Earnest Shackleton. Be watchful and on guard for dangers. Keep the switch of vigilance turned on.

77. DECISIVE.  When you know what has to be done, having calculated the risks involved, act instantly without hesitation.

78. LOYALTY.  Unswerving, unceasing devotion to glorify God by the care for others, always acting unselfishly for their best interests and preservation. Know your own mission so that you show this loyalty to those God assigns to your protection.

79. SELF-RESTRAINT.  When irritated restrain from expressing it. Instantly be aware of irritation mounting and get a tight reign on your tongue so that every word released is chosen by godly character, not the flesh.

80. RESOURCEFUL.  Find a way to get it done. Be inventive, finding better ways to get it done. Make the most of what is available. Use technology and find new ways to apply it. Think! Most of all think! Thoughts are the most valuable resource available.

81. ACTION ORIENTED.  Don't procrastinate. Face each day's trouble and deal with it. Do the hardest things first, then the easier ones.

82. SPIRIT LET.  Not driven by self.

83. COMPASSIONATE.  Hear, see and feel the pain of others and do something to help alleviate it.

84. YIELDEDNESS.  Be given over to the Holy Spirit so that He can flow through you without resistance.

85. INFLUENTIAL.  Lead by example. Speak out, write, and use the internet and media. Make the effort to influence government and citizens alike.

86. FORGETFUL LOVE.  Don't build negative memories by brooding over wrongs done to you. Let it go quickly and intentionally. Avoid building negative memories.

87. RESILIENT.  Don't dwell on setbacks, mistakes, offenses or difficulties. Recover quickly and keep moving on.

88. KNOWLEDGEABLE.  Read books and articles on many subjects. Store up knowledge.

89. TEACHABLE.  Don't think you know it all. Learn from others, especially great biographies. Always turn at God's rebuke. Be alert to learning opportunities. Remember you can learn from those who aren't as smart or spiritual as you. Don't overestimate how smart you are.

90. UNDERSTANDING.  Do the word of God. Don't judge on surface appearances. Hear people with your heart.

91. GOOD JUDGMENT.  Stay off Jesus' Judgment Throne - not being critical but open to His Judgment. Don't judge independently from God. Make tough decisions.

92. TENDERNESS.  Treat interruptions as opportunities not irritations. Take scenic trip conversations. Bring mate (and others if appropriate) into the decision making process. Don't force decisons on others.

93. FEAR OF THE LORD.  Don't say or do anything that you wouldn't want brought up on Judgment Day. Nothing will be kept secret from God.

94. APPROPRIATE EXPECTATIONS.  Don't overburden the weak. Encourage and require full potential from the gifted. Require the right amount from each person.

95. INTERCESSORY LOVE.  Pray for those in authority instead of complaining about them. Let them know who you are and ask for their prayer needs.

96. RELIABLE.  Be dependable. Don't ever violate a trust.

97. URGENCY.  Avoid complacency. Don't confuse urgency with frantic activity. Know what's urgent and act with appropriate urgency. Feel Jesus' pulse - His urgency.

98. DEAD TO SELF.  Deny, lose, crucify and put off the old self. Lose your life to find it.

99. RIGHTEOUS MOURNING.  Don't mourn over the wrong done to you. Mourn over how little you've done for others or for the wrongs you did to others. "Blessed are those who mourn," (Jesus).

100. FORESIGHT.  Perceive the future to preempt disaster.

101. SENSITIVITY.  Be sensitive to what the Holy Spirit wants. Avoid sensuality - the knowledge of what the flesh wants.

102. SEEKING SEARCHING LOVE.  The Son of Man came to seek and to save that which is lost. Imitate Jesus. Go looking for lost sinners.

103. COVERING/PERFECTING LOVE.  Jesus always intercedes for us os do what He does. Cover people's flaws with loving prayers, praying in the virtues they lack instead of criticizing.

104. TOUGH LOVE.  Be loving enough to discipline or punish if it's the most loving thing to do even if it seems the most risky thing to do.

105. BROTHERLY LOVE.  Love Christians as if they were Jesus himself. Be thinking, "How can I show love to them for Jesus' sake?"

Harvest Medical Clinic, a free clinic, is open every Tuesday and Saturday from 9am to noon. For efficient service, new patients should arrive by 9:30am and regular patients by 10:30am or call 588-4127.

It is a good idea to call the above number to make certain the clinic will be open on posted dates before you arrive. There are times when it is necessary for Dr. Barbara to close the clinic.
