this is what Club 56 is all about.

The 5th and 6th grade years can be some of the most transitional times for preteens.

We want to guide 5th and 6th graders into a deeper relationship with Jesus, to know that God is real and that a personal relationship with Him will give meaning to their lives. We want to help them develop a lifestyle that is built on and around that relationship with Jesus Christ and provide the opportunity and direction to participate in ministry where that relationship is lived out in practical ways of service.

Every Sunday in either the 8:30 or 10:30am service, Club 56 is alive with music, activities and interactions to engage this preteen age-group. They begin with some hang-out time, playing games or just talking to friends. Then they move into a worship service designed specifically for them. With a Bible-based lesson geared to help them deal with peer-pressure, social needs, obedience, or other issues they face, HCC's goal is to ground them in God's Word! High-energy worship, emphasis on giving their tithe and giving to missions, and prayer time round out their worship time.

56ers are also able to serve as Junior Workers in HCC's Preschool Children's Church. After taking a class, these guys and girls get hands-on ministry training by serving children younger than they. Plugging in to service often will keep them active in church through their teen years.

Small-group discipleship is provided for the 56ers through HCC's Transformation Station each Wednesday night. During the school year, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, HCC encourages children in their spiritual growth, disciples them, teaches them to be like Jesus, and helps them build healthy friendships with children and adults. These classes are designed to help 56ers grow and stand strong in their personal relationship with God.

We want every activity, every class, and every fun event to be a time where 56ers connect with God!
