Bishop & Shyrel O’Neal

Sean O’Neal serves as the California-Nevada Church of God State Administrative Bishop.

Dr. O’Neal is also the Chairman of the Church of God Church Planting Taskforce, a member of the Church of God USA Missions Board and previously served as a member of the International Executive Council (Council of 18) for the Church of God 2016-2022.

The O’Neal’s have led churches as Senior Pastors planting 3 new churches, as well as, leading and pastoring 2 established churches. Bishop O’Neal has also served as local church youth pastor, urban missionary to Chicago, State Youth and Discipleship Director, State Evangelism Director and University Professor. Dr. O’Neal is a trained church consultant and leadership, life, and church planting coach. He has earned B.A, M.A. and a Doctoral degree from Lee University, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and Westminster Theological Seminary respectively.

The O’Neal’s have two children: Lauren and Sean-Michael.
